FAQs
1) How should I prepare for a session?
If possible, take your time getting to the appointment so that you can signal to your nervous system that it is okay to calm down and be open to receive the your upcoming Reiki treatment.
Please be sure to adquately hydrate before your session. I will have spring water available for you from the Spa State Park. You are welcome to have some before and after your session.
New Clients: Please arrive 15-20 minutes early for your first session so that we can review the brief paperwork I emailed to you in preparation for your treatment and answer any questions you may have.
Returning Clients: You are welcome to arrive 5-10 minutes early so we can briefly connect about your concerns and questions before the session.
2) What should I wear? Do I keep my clothes on?
All clients are fully clothed while receiving a Reiki treatment. I recommend that you wear something that is loose and comfortable and wear minimal jewelry. You will be asked to remove your shoes as you enter the office for the purpose of being able to do energy work on your feet. Please refrain from wearing perfumes and anything scented in consideration for the well-being of clients and practitioners who use this office.
3) What happens if I feel uncomfortable during a session?
Your comfort, well-being, and safety are very important to me. Our sessions are designed to create a serene and nurturing environment conducive to deep relaxation and energetic healing. If you feel uncomfortable for any reason, please let me know so I can address your concerns and help you feel comfortable and cared for during our time together.
4) What should I do if I am running late?

I am happy to accommodate you and your arrival so you have a serene transition into your treatment experience. Please also note that your session will end as previously scheduled so that I can be on time for other scheduled clients.
5) What should I do if I am not feeling well?
If you are not feeling well, please cancel your appointment as soon as possible without incurring cancellation fees.
6) What should I do if I need to cancel my appointment?
Please give me a notice of at least 24 hours in advance of needing to change or cancel your appointment. Appointments that are missed/rescheduled/cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be billed for the full session price (unless there is an emergency or illness).
